HABITATER / HABITATS
Habitatene er ”tematiske møtesteder” mellom publikum og Gentle Actions inviterte aktører. Her vil det være et vidt spenn av miljørettete temaer belyst gjennom presentasjoner, diskusjoner, praktiske workshops, seminarer eller samtaler mellom ulike aktører og publikum. Habitatene vil reflektere prosjektets tematiske ryggrad, samt synliggjøre interessene til aktørene som står bak og skape tverrfaglige forbindelser mellom de ulike deltagerne.
The ‘habitats’ will be thematic meeting points between the public and the invited participants in the gallery space during the project period. There will be a wide range of environmentally themed presentations, discussions and shorter practical workshops. We thus hope to lay the foundations for an open investigation of many of contemporary culture’s underlying streams.

MATKULTUR SOM MOTKULTUR / FOOD AS COUNTERCULTURE
”Grøt, grensesprengende yoghurt og surdeigsbrød” – Vårt prosjekt skal gi næring til både kropp og sjel i form av workshops, være et sted for dialoger og ritualer rundt det å dele mat, i tillegg til å tilby en rekke sanselige opplevelser. Det vil være en rik blanding av smak og lukt basert på mat med levende kulturer, fra surdeigsbrød, til tradisjonell grøt og te med ville urter. Tidsforløpet i vårt samarbeid vil bære preg av langsomme gjæringsprosesser og fremveksten av levende kulturmat.
“Porridge, cutting edge yoghurt, and sourdough bread” – This space will provide food for thought in the form of workshops, space for conversation and the rituals of sharing meals, in addition to a variety of sensory experiences. There will be a rich array of tastes and smells from living cultured foods and sourdough bread, to traditional porridge and wild teas. The duration of the event will be marked through the slow fermentation and growth of living foods occupying the space.

KUNSTNERNES HAGE / THE ARTIST´ GARDEN (STARTED)
Kunstnernes Hage er en økologisk fundert nyttehage og kunstprosjekt som har vært dyrket på de to jordlappene foran inngangen til Kunstnernes Hus. Hagen ble igangsatt 16. juni 2010 og høstet i september. Grønnsaker og urter er høstet av Oslo og omegn Økologiske Hagelag og råvarene blir tilbrerdet til munnfuller under åpningshelgen av cateringfimaet Uten oppskrift . Frøene blie samlet fra hagen og innsendt fra frivillige deltakere og samlet i FRØSENTRALEN.
The Artists´ Garden is an organic vegetable garden that is developed as an art project outside the gallery. The produce will be used for the event and in the gallery restaurant at Kunstnernes Hus. This habitat was established on the 16th of June and harvested in September by Oslo Organic Gardeners Association. Food from the garden will be prepared by the caterers Uten oppskrift and served during the opening seminar at Gentle Actions.
